Blackwing Volume 223 Postcards

Volume 223 is a tribute to Woody Guthrie and his immutable optimism.

While out on the road, Woody would often send postcards to his loved ones back home. He added doodles and captions to the images on these postcards; personal touches to remind them of his presence.

In honor of this, we've created 3 unique Woody Guthrie postcards featuring images from the Guthrie family's collection: a photo of Guthrie with his iconic guitar by Al Aumuller, the handwritten lyrics from "This Land is Your Land" from Woody's personal notebook, and a self-portrait painting.
